This ballet-based musical reimagining of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is directed by Gurinder. Bachchan's beauty and stardom was then merged for her debut English language movie. After the film's release, Provoked: a True Story in English, she returned to Bollywood and was a part of the film Dhoom: 2 (2007). She got married Abhishek Bachchan, who is a co-star, who is the child of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage brought two of India's most prominent individuals to one another.
