Alison Doody

Alison Doody has been an Irish actor and model since 11 November 1996. After her first small performance as an archaeologist Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, 1989's Elsa Schneider - a Nazi-sympathizing character - in A View to a Kill (Bond film, 1985), she went onto perform the role of Nazisympathizing Elsa Schneider. Siobhan Doovan played Charlotte as Taffin in 1988 and Rebecca Flannery starred in Major League II in 1994. Photographer approached Doody Doody decided to take up modeling, which turned into an industry-related career in modelling. Doody strictly avoided glamour, nudity and thongs during her modeling career. In 1985, after getting noticed by the directors of casting for a James Bond new film, Doody took a small part in Jenny Flex as in A View to a Kill. Doody was named one of 12 Promising New Actors of 1986 in John Willis Screen World, Vol. 38. Doody She was just 18 when she played Doody in the movie A Prayer for the Dying (1987) which starred Mickey Rourke. She is the tiniest Bond Girl to date. A Prayer for the Dying starring Mickey Rourke also had a role for Doody in the character of IRA Siobhan. Doody was an actress in silent films in a 1987 film adaptation to The Secret Garden, playing Archibald Craven's dream bride Lilias. She was Sapsorrow in the Jim Henson's fantasy series The Storyteller, opposite John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. She also played as Pierce Brosnan on the movie Taffin. Her most recognizable role to date was as Austrian Nazi sympathiser and archaeologist Doctor Elsa Schneider opposite Harrison Ford in 1989's Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody has been in three films with James Bond actors. Doody has co-starred alongside Jonathan Pryce, in the British mini-series Selling Hitler. The series was an inspiration for The Hitler Diaries publishing scam. Later, she relocated to Hollywood. She was replaced by Cybill Shepherd in the L'Oreal spokesperson's character. Doody then appeared as Flannery Sheen's wife and agent alongside Charlie Sheen, as Major League II was released in 1994. Doody was a part of the 2003 British comedy The Actors. Michael Caine portrayed her at a ceremony in recognition of an award. The roles she played include the TV movie version of King Solomon's Mines in 2004 and a book about the Holocaust and the short film Benjamin's Struggle in 2005. Doody had a minor role in Danny Dyer's movie The Rapture (2010). Then, she appeared on RTE's Medical thriller The Clinic. She was also set to appear in the remake of the classic horror film The Asphyx. However, that project eventually stalled. Pam Jefferson is her role in the E4 Comedy Drama Beaver Falls' first of two seasons. In 2014, she appeared on We Still Kill the Old Way (2014).
